The Service Line

The Service Line is the central contact responsible for handling any issues arising in connection with Towa products. This applies to both hardware and software, as well as to general information. Customers can send enquiries or report faults to the Towa Service Line by telephone or fax. The Service Line then coordinates any measures required from their central location.

Point of Sale Rental

Towa Data Systems offers the following Point Of Sale rental services on most of our POS software products

They include:

  • Weekender
  • Monthly
  • Six Monthly

POS Software Rental

In many cases the end user cannot afford to pay for the software up front, Towa has devised a 36/48/60 month rental plan or rent to own plan.
The Renral requires a debit order to be signed for the relevant period

Extended Warrantee

Towa Data Systems offers three different types of warrantee to suite each and every customers needs Warrantee

  • All products LABOUR ONLY carry in warrantee
  • All products LABOUR ONLY on sight warrantee to a maximum of 50 km traveling. Should the distance exceed 50 km from our nearest service point we will be happy to offer the most competitive rates based on distance from the nearest service centre.
  • " ALL IN " extended warrantee, which covers all traveling, and parts used in the repair. There are no additional charges whatsoever.

POS Software Maintenance

Towa Data Systems offers both telephonic and onsite services after the guarantee has expired as all of the POS software that we sell is developed by us at our Durban offices. Please note that all our POS software is continually being upgraded to meet current market needs and hence the need for a POS maintenance agreement. Licenses are annually renewable. Prices of maintenance and License will vary according to the various packages distributed.


Towa Data Systems guarantee's all of its products. This includes both new and refurbished. Guarantee lengths are product specific.

Towa Data Systems offers a sales and delivery service for all of the peripherals and products that we sell however these products are also available at our retail store in Durban for collection.

POS Repairs and Service

Towa Data Systems offers a repair service for all of the products it sells. In most instances we are also able to offer technical expertise on other brands.

Extend the life and look of your product. We are a re-spray and overhaul POS refurbishment department that will make your product look and operate just like new
